The Urban County Program, is requesting cancellation of the negotiated contract with L&G Engineering Laboratory in the amount of $6,408.05, a balance on Purchase Order # 7287 approved and issued on January 9, 2008, in connection with City of Weslaco Waterline Improvements project utilizing Years 17 (2004) funds.

BACKGROUND

Hidalgo County Urban County Program executed a contract with L&G Engineering Laboratory in the amount of $6,861.25 for the 2004 Waterline Improvement. The project required only one test for clearance due to another project being continued in the same exact project area. The project engineer, Halff & Associates determined that no further testing is required for this project. Urban County Program- City of Weslaco is requesting cancellation of said contract.   See attached request letter.
