The Urban County Program for City of San Juan is requesting authority to award bid and enter into a construction contract with Valley Paving, Inc. (lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements) for street improvements at San Juan Del Norte Subdivision in the City of San Juan in the amount of $216,310.00 utilizing San Juan Year 20 (2007) Street Improvement funds.

BACKGROUND

Bid opening was held April 30, 2008 with Valley Paving, Inc. submitting the lowest bid meeting all specifications and/or requirements in the amount of $216,310.00.  The street improvements at San Juan Del Norte Subdivision will be completed with City of San Juan Urban County Program Year 20 (2007) Street Improvement funds.  See attached recommendation by the project engineer.  (Project Engineer: Cruz-Hogan Consultants, Inc.)
