Presentation for discussion/update, status report, consideration, and approval (if necessary) on the on-going negotiations (in connection with the scopes of work) with the number one ranked architectural firm of ERO for the Courthouse Renovation Project including, but not limited to, the following:
Phase I:   Prepare drawings of existing conditions of the site and buildings located on the Courthouse Square;
Phase II:  Perform a facilities, building code and deferred maintenance assessments of the site, building and physical plant;
Phase III: Design the renovation of the 3rd., 4th., and 5th. floors to accommodate new courtrooms, ancillary spaces and other floors or buildings located on the Courthouse property.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

Possible funding source will be the Countywide Administration - Contingency G/F account.  Project development will necessitate the creation of proper accounts to be determined by the Auditor's Office, refer to AI 7765/13.A.13.A,B.  CC meeting date of 2-6-08, "No Action" taken. (IC, 6-13-08).

Funding for this engagement would need to be identified and in place at the time of approving a negoitated contract with the firm.
