The Urban County Program (UCP) is requesting approval of an Amendment to a Professional Engineering Service contract with R. Gutierrez Engineering Corporation which will increase the contract amount of $112,661.00 by $16,556.68 to a total amount of $129,217.68 to be utilized for construction material testing.

BACKGROUND

Urban County Program is requesting approval of an amendment to a professional services contract approved on May 25, 2010. The original contract amount of $112,661.00 included the engineering services for Pct. 2 Street Improvements (TDRA Contract No. DRS010068). The additional funding will be utilized to obtain additional services for construction materials testing from Raba-Kisner Consultants, Inc.  See attached justification for additional services submitted by R. Gutierrez Engineering Corporation and approval for increase by UCP.

 Original Contract Amount:  $ 112,661.00
 Additional Amended Amount:  $   15,051.52
 Reimbursable expense (Section IV)  $     1,505.16
 New Contract Amount:  $ 129,217.68
 Amount Available:  $   50,841.40
