Requesting authorization to amend the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) contract with Advocacy Resource Center for Housing (ARCH) and the Hidalgo County Urban County Program. The amendment would increase the current contract amount of $1,056,738.75 by $15,000.00. The amended contract amount for ARCH will be $1,071,738.75. The amendment will increase the Homeless Prevention category.

This grant was approved by a Substantial Amendment to the 2009 Action Plan under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (“Recovery Act”). The Urban County Program is requesting authorization to amend the existing contract with ARCH under the HPRP Program. The allocation amount would change from $1,056,738.75 by $15,000.00. These funds came from the recaptured funding from other HPRP subrecipients that were not meeting their threshold.
