Approval of 2012 appropriation of funds for the Jail Commissary Account (2102) in the amount of $48,000.00.
BACKGROUND
This will provide funding for the purchase of computers and the accountability in the procurement process.
Pursuant to Local Government Code Chapter 351 Section 351.0415, commissary proceeds may be used to "(5) fund physical plant improvements, technology, equipment, programs, services, and activities that provide for the well-being, health, safety, and security of the inmates and the facility".
