Discussion consideration and action on the recommendation by the grievance committee regarding the proposed 2014 salaries for the Justices of the Peace as per Section 152.016 of the Texas Local Government Code.
BACKGROUND
As per Texas LGC Sec. 152.016, eight of the nine member grievance committee voted to recommend the $5,000.00 salary increase since there was not a unanimous vote it is the discretion of commissioners’ court to consider the recommendation.
