The Urban County Program requests authorization to advertise for construction and related activities for all projects identified in the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 One –Year Action Plans, subsequent amendments and Colonia funded activities.

 Annually the Urban County Program submits the Hidalgo County One - Year Action Plans to HUD after receiving Commissioners’ Court Approval. The submitted plans outline the intended use of CDBG, HOME, and ESG funds administered by the Urban County Program. The plans further define the specific projects to be implemented in terms of scope, location and budget availability. In an effort to expedite fund expenditures, the Urban County Program is seeking authorization to advertise for the required services to implement these programs in order to eliminate repetitive agenda items pertaining to the Plans and to shorten the administrative process for their implementation.
