Urban County Program, on behalf of the City of Palmview, is requesting approval of a contract extension with Sanco General Contracting, Inc. for an additional One Hundred Twenty days (120) in order to amend a utility easement for the ongoing Abram Bridge Road project construction contract.
BACKGROUND
Sanco General Contracting Inc contract was approved by Commissioners’ Court on July 22, 2014. Contract approval in the amount of $111,038.00 was executed and Notice to Proceed was issued on August 18, 2014. If contract extension is approved the new expiration date would be January 31, 2015. There will be no financial increase to the contract. The contract expired on October 3, 2014.
