Requesting authority for Valde Guerra, County Executive Officer, to sign and submit Federal Excise Tax Exemption Certificate for 2014 as requested by vendor for file purposes.
BACKGROUND
For use by State and Local Governments
Requested by Oscar Garza, Purchasing Dept.
We have currently gone before Commissioners Court for the Excise Tax form to be signed which will be valid for 2015; however there was a sale in 2014 and Rush Truck Centers needs a signed Excise Tax form signed for 2014.
This was not brought up and Rush Trucks picked up they did not have this form.
There was only (1) Truck Sold and it was delivered on 12/22/14
Need Excise Form to reflect 12/22/14 thru 12/30/14 and this would cover last year.
