The Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Alamo is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with The 5125 Company in the amount of $290,285.00. UCP funds from FY 27 (2014) Water/Sewer Improvements line item and the City of Alamo general funds will be utilized.

 The Urban County Program requested and received bids on September 2, 2015. The lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and requirements was Go Underground, LLC. However, the second lowest bidder, being The 5125 Company is a Section 3 Certified Contractor and has opted to match the lowest bid submitted by Go Underground, LLC. Therefore, as per Section 3 requirements, we are recommending that The 5125 Company be awarded this contract. The project will provide sanitary sewer collection improvements to Country Living Estates within the City of Alamo. Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer (Quintanilla, Headley and Associates, Inc.), contractor’s acceptance letter, bid tabulation sheet, contract and certificate of liability insurance.
