The Urban County Program is requesting a waiver to the CDBG Policy regarding the forfeiture of funds for program year 2015-2016 and requests that the Court allow the forfeited funds to remain in each City’s Workplan rather than reprogramming the funds to the Precinct in which the City is located as outlined in the CDBG policy.
BACKGROUND
The waiver is necessary to ensure the successful completion of ongoing projects. There is a total of four cities that did not meet the deadline for submittal of Audits (June 30, 2015) and have requested consideration from their respective Precincts to continue with the approved work plans for FY 28 (2015).
