The Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Hidalgo is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with E-Con Group, LLC in the amount of $1,895,044.00. UCP funds in Years 23, 24, 25 and 26 (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013) Non-Residential Historical Preservation line items will be used as well as funding from the City of Hidalgo.
BACKGROUND
The bid opening was held on September 9, 2015 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and /or requirements is E-Con Group, LLC. The Project is for the reconstruction/restoration of the Old Hidalgo County Court House, a Historical Preservation Project. Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer and contractor's general liability insurance. Project engineering firs is EGV Architects, Inc.
