 "Subject to Compliance with HB 1295, when and if Applicable." Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Weslaco is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with RDH Site and Concrete, LLC for the base bid plus alternate for a total contract amount of $277,270.50. Utilizing FY’s 25-28 (2012-2015) water/sewer improvements funds.

BACKGROUND

 The Urban County Program has requested and received bids for the City of Weslaco – Waterline Improvements project (Alleys/Streets between Oregon Ave., Michigan Ave. and Iowa Ave.). Cruz-Hogan Consultants, Inc. prepared the specification packages and bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on August 10, 2016. After review the project engineer recommended RDH Site and Concrete, LLC as the lowest of nine (9) qualified bidders. (See attached recommendation letter from Ronnie Cruz, P.E., bid tabulation sheet, contract, certificate of liability insurance and HB 1295 form).
