BACKGROUND
Requesting approval of the 2017 Sheriff/Constable Fee Schedule for the County of Hidalgo, pursuant to Local Government Code 118.131. The fees will be effective January 01, 2017 and will be assessed and collected for service or one (1) attempt of service. As per Local Government Code 118.131, fees are to be approved/adopted by Commissioner's Court on or before October 01, 2016.
The section regarding fees for surety/bail bondsman for the return of principal/accused are pursuant to Code of Criminal Procedure Article 17.16(g). Meal and lodging costs are based on the Hidalgo County Travel Policy.
