HC-Constable, Pct. #3, is requesting for CC to accept and approve the "Public Purpose" [pursuant to Texas Constitution, Art. 52] for the items purchased under PO#752477 as the materials/supplies assist in rendering the joint efforts & goals between the school districts and the county: i.e. reducing student juvenile crime, delinquency behavior and increasing school attendance, safety and security for students, faculty, members of the community thus benefiting all parties.
BACKGROUND
Facts:
1. HC has an ILAs with several ISDs for the purposes such as: safety, security, reducing youth crime, delinquency behavior and increasing school attendance which benefits both youth and community;
2. Const., Pct. #3 in an attempt to better render and succeed with the goals of both ISD and County purchased educational materials, items, supplies;
3. The purchase of the items were compliant with purchasing laws as a cooperative purchasing program awarded vendor was utilized;
