Subject to HB 1295 Compliance, requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with South Pools, Inc. dba Oasis Water Playgrounds in the amount of $390,520.00. UCP Year 27 & 28 (2014 & 2015) City of Hidalgo Parks, Recreational Facility Improvement funds will be utilized.

The bid opening was held on June 7, 2017 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was South Pools, Inc. dba Oasis Water Playgrounds. Project consists of the purchase and installation of a water splash pad at Hidalgo Memorial Park locate at 200 Judy Drive in Hidalgo, including but not limited to professional engineering services, geotechnical and material testing, etc. Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer and contractor’s general liability insurance. Project engineering firm is Javier Hinojosa Engineering.
