Request to remove fixed asset from Office of Emergency Management inventory list with detailed description of the asset attached as “Exhibit A” Inventory Listing.
BACKGROUND
Asset 51898, APX7000 Dual Band Mid Power Portable Radio, serial number 655CLT5732, was purchased by the Office of Emergency Management with 2009 SHSP funding. Initially (5) radios were purchased for radio communication between the department and other responding departments during a response. The radios were purchased and listed under the OEM department inventory and loaned to the Fire Marshals Office under a Property Permanent Loan Form on 10/13/2010 “Exhibit B”. On 7/3/2017 (3) of the (5) radios were returned to our office, (1) will be transferred to Constable Pct. 2 and the remaining radio, Asset 51898 was not located. After many attempts to locate the asset we have concluded that the asset is unrecoverable and request to have it removed from the inventory asset listing.
