Subject to HB 1295 Compliance, requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Go Underground, LLC for a total contract amount of $225,016.00 UCP FY’s 28 & 29 (2015 & 2016) Water/Sewer improvement funds will be utilized.
BACKGROUND
The Urban County Program has requested and received bids for the City of Weslaco – Waterline Improvements Phase 2 Project. Cruz-Hogan Consultants, Inc. prepared the specification packages and bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on January 31, 2018. After review the project engineer recommended Go Underground, LLC as the lowest of sixteen (16) qualified bidders. (See attached recommendation letter from Ronnie Cruz, P.E., bid tabulation sheet, contract, certificate of liability insurance and HB 1295 form).
