Discussion, consideration, and approval to continue with the modified allocation of quarterly payments schedule as previously agreed upon between Hidalgo County and the Hidalgo County Appraisal District in 1982, with authority for the County Judge to sign the requested acknowledgment.
BACKGROUND
In 1982, taxing units and the former Chief Appraiser agreed to modify the provisions of Section 6.06(e) and agreed to establish four equal payments. The appraisal district is requesting each taxing unit to indicate its agreement by signing letter attached. As per the requirements of Section 6.06(e), "the governing body of the taxing unit" is required to formally approve this request.
