CAPTION

Pursuant to the current adopted Hidalgo County Purchasing Policies and Procedures [applicable Chapters/Sections 7, 8 & 9], requesting action by Commissioners' Court for the following including, but not limited to:
A.  Authorization of an "exception" from requirement under Chapter 7 in connection with the necessity to rental vacuum trucks for the extraction of water from flooded areas;
B.  Approval of an "order" into the minutes of the meeting to accept the attached "certification" of & by Pct. #3 Commissioner Joe Flores, in connection with the rental of vaccum trucks [from vendors, Longhorn Paving & Butch's Oilfield Services] as a result of the flooding rains commencing on or about Sept. 10, 2018;
C.  Approval of an exemption from competitive bidding requirements under TxLGC 262.024(a)(1)(2) due to the flooding rains commencing on or about Sept. 10, 2018;
D.  Approval to continue the rental of vacuum trucks from vendors, Longhorn Paving and Butch's Oilfield Services commencing today and continuing as required to relieve residents and county property in flooded areas and/or when Local Declaration of Emergency is Terminated  whichever comes first, through the requisition and purchase order protocol as no agreement are required.
