Discussion, consideration, action to include Armando Garza, Jr., as an approved designee to the VMS Group for the New Hidalgo County Courthouse Project (will now be known as VMSA Group)
BACKGROUND
[current designees: Valde Guera, Michael Leo, Sergio Cruz, aka, VMS] as "Owner's Designated Representatives" for the, "Construction Manager-At Risk (CMAR) for the New Hidalgo County Courthouse," and to be allowed to act in all circumstances on behalf of the County, including the appropriate reviews and approvals, with respect to the Project in all circumstances, including Applications for Payment and Allowance Expenditure Authorizations, except as follows:
A. approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment;
B. approval of Change Orders increasing the Guaranteed Maximum Price in excess of $50,000; and
C. approval of Change Orders increasing the contractual duration.
The Owner’s Designated Representative has only such authority as granted by the Commissioners’ Court of the Owner.
