Subject to Compliance with HB 1295, requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Herrcon, LLC, the lowest responsible bidder  in the amount of $382,742.00 using UCP Fiscal Years 28, 29 & 30 (2015, 2016 & 2017) Hidalgo –Parks, Recreational Facility Improvements UCP funds.

The bid opening was held on October 10, 2018 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Herrcon, LLC.  Project consists of the construction of new concession stand with bathrooms and lighting for the soccer fields at Valle Alto Park.  Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer and contractor’s general liability insurance.  Project engineer firm is Javier Hinojosa Engineering.
