Requesting approval of the Memorandum of Agreement between Texas Department of State Health Services and Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Department. The purpose of the agreement is for Texas Department of State Health Services and Hidalgo County to provide clinical education for medical residents or fellows at the clinical facilities which provide essential public health services and will serve to provide clinical education for medical residents and further described and detailed in the MOA attached herein.
BACKGROUND
Texas DSHS graduate medical education residents will assist in offering medical services at the County-based clinics and benefit the community's growing medical services field.
