Subject to Compliance with HB 1295, requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Saenz Brothers Construction, the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $1,186,108.00.  Texas General Land Office 2015 Flood grant funds will be utilized.

The Urban County Program has requested and received sealed bids for the Construction of Phase II of the Trenton Drain II and III 2015 GLO Flood Grant Project.  SAMES, Inc. prepared the specification packages and sealed bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on May 22, 2019.  After review, the Project Engineer has recommended Saenz Brothers Construction as the lowest responsible bidder of fourteen (14) qualified bidders.
