Subject to compliance with HB 1295, requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Diamond Eight Industries, LLC in the amount of $141,575.25.  UCP Funds from FY’s 2017 & 2018 Progreso Street Improvements line item will be utilized.

BACKGROUND

The Urban County Program has requested and received bids for the City of Progreso Street Improvements Project.  Fulcrum Consulting Services prepared plans & specifications packages and bids were received and opened at Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on July 10, 2019.  After review, project engineer recommended Diamond Eight Industries, LLC as the lowest qualified bidder out of 7 (seven) bids received. Attached is recommendation letter from Fulcrum Consulting Services, bid tabulation sheet, contract, certificate of liability insurance and HB 1295 form).
