Requesting approval of 2nd Amendment to the 2017 HOME Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Program Agreement between Hidalgo County Urban County Program and Proyecto Azteca.
BACKGROUND
The 2017 agreement with Proyecto Azteca included the construction of a total of four (4) new homes for qualified
families. At present, a total of four (4) active units are in progress with one being at 50% completion. Proyecto
Azteca expects that all four (4) units currently under construction will be completed and sold to qualified families
within the next six (6) months. As such, Proyecto Azteca has requested an extension to the 2017 CHDO Agreement
from November 14, 2019 to May 14, 2020.
