A. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements under Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 262.024,(a)(2) an item necessary to preserve or protect the public health or safety of the residents of the County, (7) items for which competition is precluded because of the existence of patents, copyrights, secret processes, or monopolies;
B. Requesting approval of a "Sole Source Declaration" for Votec Cooperation, for the provision of purchase of voter kiosks and additional laptops with Votec software, and equipment for a total price of $196,340.00. to be used by HC-Elections. These Kiosks work hand in hand with Laptops purchased on (AI-77627 presented on 10/06/2020) subject to 1295 compliance.
