“Subject to Compliance with HB 1295” the Urban County Program is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Texas Cordia Construction, LLC., the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $295,675.00 utilizing UCP funds from Fiscal Years 32 & 33 (2019 & 2020) Alton Street Improvement Funds,

BACKGROUND

The bid opening was held on February 24, 2021 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Texas Cordia Construction, LLC.  Project consists of Street Improvements within the City of Alton.  Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer and contractor’s general liability insurance.  Project engineer firm is HC Engineering.

Contractor:  Texas Cordia Construction, LLC.
Contract Amount:  $ 295,675.00

Available Funds:  $   20,141.05         2019 Alton Street Improvements
                               $ 270,046.10         2020 Alton Street Improvements
                               $     6,327.75         Alton City Funds
