“Subject to Compliance with HB 1295” the Urban County Program is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Celso Gonzalez Construction, Inc., the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $1,210,855.69 utilizing UCP funds from Fiscal Years 31- 33 (2017 - 2020) Granjeno Public Facility Improvements Funds, (Pending Legal Review).

The bid opening was held on March 10, 2021 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Celso Gonzalez Construction, Inc.  Project consists of the reconstruction of the public facility, to provide the community with a computer lab, exercise room, internet library and activity room. Project will also include advertisements, professional service fees, material testing fees, and all related appurtenances, etc.  Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer and contractor’s general liability insurance. Project engineer firm is Hinojosa Engineering Inc. City Funds will be used to complete contract.
