Requesting approval of Resolution to Adopt the Section 3 Plan to comply with 24 CFR, Part 75 of the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

24 CFR Part 75 replaced 24 CFR Part 135, The requirements of Section 3 create more effective incentives for employers to retain and invest in their low- and very low-income workers.  Section 3 streamlines reporting requirements by aligning them with typical business practices, provides for program-specific oversight and clarifies the obligations of entities that are covered by Section 3.  The following items include the Section 3 Plan, Resolution, Appendix C for Businesses wishing to be designated a Section 3 Business Concern for Contracting and Appendix D for Worker or Targeted Worker.
