BACKGROUND
In accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the County of Hidalgo Urban County Program (UCP) must hold a public hearing for the solicitation of comments on the proposed changes to its Citizen Participation Plan. Notice of the Public Hearing was published on February 2, 2022 in the Monitor and El Periodico. The Plan has been amended to include the application processes for Section 108 Loan Guaranteed funds, and the substantial amendment limits for approved CDBG funds.
