BACKGROUND
Negotiations with the No. 1 ranked firm, Halff Associates, Inc. were not successful. The scoring grid for engineering firms for the 2021 Progreso Parks, Recreational Facilities project was originally presented in Hidalgo County Commissioner’s Court on February 8,2022 and ranked the following firms, of which Halff Associates, Inc., was ranked No. 1, L&G Consulting Engineering Services was ranked No. 2 and Lazcamera, LLC dba Fulcrum Consulting Services was ranked No. 3. Halff Associates, Inc. has declined service contract, therefore we need to negotiate with the next ranked professional service provider.
