The State reimburses the county for handling of the Title IV-E Child Welfare cases.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:
The County matches 100% of all costs related to Title IV-E County Child Welfare Services. However, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services reimburses the county for part of the expenses when the County handles Title IV-E cases. Actual reimbursement is based on Eligible Population Rate (EPR) in effect for the county during the month in which the expenses are incurred. The reimbursement is then receipted in a General Fund revenue account number (2-1100-331-12-360-001-0-000 TDPRS-TITLE IV-E CHILD WELFARE SRV CONTR).Attachments
