A. Requesting approval of Change Order No. 5 to [C-20-294-02-23] with REIM Construction, Inc for Hidalgo County Precinct No. 3 - Mile 3 N. Road Project (Tom Gill Road to FM 492 [Goodwin Road]) [as detailed in document] and recommended by project engineer, B2Z Engineering and subject to receipt of TXDOT letter of concurrence.
BACKGROUND
Change Order #5 in the amount of $100,615.00 and 15 days has been reviewed and approved by Hidalgo County Precinct 3 to make the following contract changes. Change Order #5 adds to the original Mile 3 contract by 1) providing drainage to the north side of Mile 3 for Liberty Road, 2) redesigning the riprap slopes on the 1101ih and south sides of Mile 3 to match field conditions and minimize erosion, and 3) redesigning the sidewalks on the north and south side of Mile 3 to match the riprap slopes. CO #5 only uses existing items to increase or decrease quantities. Precinct #3 has reviewed and approved the modifications provided herein Change Order #5.
