1.  Accept North Alamo Water Supply Corp (NAWSC) letter of commitment which certifies that it will provide a check for the full amount of the shortage amount of $138,180.00 to supplement the construction budget deficit in order to award the construction contract for Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) 2022 Colonia Funds: Construction project; contract no. CFC21-0418.

2.  “Subject to Compliance with HB 1295” the Urban County Program is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with JMJ Constructors, the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $1,078,180.00 utilizing funds awarded to Hidalgo County by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) in Contract No. CFC21-0418, as well as local contribution funds provided by North Alamo Water Supply Corp (NAWSC). 

The bid opening was held on December 21,2022 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was JMJ Constructors. Contract includes the award of Base Bid and Alternate #3. This TDA project consists of the rehabilitation of lifts stations and installation of sewer main in the San Carlos area. Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer, Ivan Garcia of Rio Delta Engineering, letter of commitment from North Alamo Water Supply Corp and contractor’s general liability insurance.
