The Urban County Program is requesting authority to enter into a "Contribution-In-Aid-of-Construction Agreement" with AEP Texas Central Company in the amount of $156,123.17 for three phases for the installation of primary poles and street lights within the City of Peñitas.  UCP- City of Peñitas CDBG 2022 Peñitas Street Improvement funds will be utilized for this purchase.

AEP is a sole provider of light service in the Peñitas city limits.  The city is requesting street lights and street light poles to be installed.  Project is zoned into three separate phases. (Phase I- includes 36 unit installations,      Phase II- includes 38 Unit Installations, and Phase III- includes 26 Unit installations, all phases include a total of 194 new W-LED Street Lights). (Attached for review is the AEP Contribution-In-Aid-of Construction Agreement and Sole Source Declaration).
