CAPTION
Pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act, Texas Government Code 791.001 et. Seq., acceptance and approval to enter into an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the Hidalgo and Cameron Counties Irrigation District No. 9 and the County of Hidalgo concerning the development of the Precinct 1 Hike and Bike Trail, beginning at the Harlon Sports Complex Park through Irrigation District No. 9 right of way property and ending at South Midway Rd.
BACKGROUND
ARPA Project Number: ARPA-21-121-037
In accordance with Texas Government Code §791.014, Hidalgo County, Texas, acting by and through the Hidalgo County Commissioners Court, has been advised of a proposed project regarding a Hike and Bike Trail beginning at the Harlon Sports Complex Park through Irrigation District No. 9 Right of Way and property and ending at South Midway Rd., through an Inter-local Cooperation Agreement to be entered into with the Hidalgo and Cameron Counties Irrigation District No. 9 and the County of Hidalgo, Texas whereas the County will be the fiduciary agent for the Project and assume the role of project development lead.
