Requesting approval of Amendment to the 2022 HOME Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Program Agreement between Hidalgo County Urban County Program and Affordable Homes of South Texas, Inc., (AHSTI). The proposed amendment will increase the 2022 Agreement by utilizing available FY 2021 and FY 2022 funds in the amount of $300,000.
BACKGROUND
The 2022 agreement granted AHSTI $200,000.00 in HOME funds for the new construction of three (3) to four (4) single family home units. The amendment will increase the 2022 Contract Agreement to $500,000 which will allow for the new construction of four (4) to five (5) additional single family home units.
Available Funding
FY 2021 $100,000.00
FY 2022 $200,000.00
Total $300,000.00
