Discussion and consideration of approval to award and enter into a construction contract with G-8 Utilities, LLC., the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $239,387.00 utilizing UCP funds from Fiscal Years 2021, 2022, 2023 La Villa Flood Drainage Improvements Funds, all subject to compliance with HB 1295.  

The bid opening was held on May 1, 2024 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was G8 Utilities LLC. Project consists of flood drainage improvements to include purchase and installation of 18 inch re-enforce concrete pipes with a concrete box, and inlet to connect to existing storm sewer system. Project will also include reconstruction of street, to include, but not limited to, adjacent/abutting streets within the same general vicinity. Attached is the letter of recommendation by SAMES, Inc. and contractor’s general liability insurance.
