Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Presents Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) Recognition for 2024-2028

We are proud to announce that Hidalgo County Health and Human Services has once again been awarded recognition from the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) for Project Public Health Ready (PPHR), covering the period from 2024 to 2028. This is a re-recognition of our department’s continued dedication to public health preparedness, having previously earned this distinction in 2017.

Later this year, Hidalgo County Health and Human Services will be listed on the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) PPHR website, underscoring our commitment to public health readiness.
