Requesting authorization to approve the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Urban County Program Interlocal Agreements with fifteen (15) participating cities, and authorization for Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez to sign all necessary agreements.

To ensure compliance with the proper expenditure of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, as outlined in 24 CFR Part 570 and other applicable federal regulations, an annual Interlocal Agreement must be formally executed between Hidalgo County and each city participating in the Urban County Program. For the Fiscal Year 2024-2025, agreements will be executed with the following cities:
 
Participating Cities: Alamo, Elsa, Mercedes, San Juan, Alton, Hidalgo, Palmview, Sullivan City, Donna, La Joya, Peñitas, Weslaco, Edcouch, La Villa and Progreso
