A. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements under Texas Local Government Code, 262.024(a)(7)(A) an item that can only be obtained from one source because of the existence of patents, copyrights, secret processes or monopolies;
B. Requesting acceptance and approval of a Sole Source Declaration for vendor, Cepheid to enter into a two (2) year Service Agreement for the GeneXpert equipment for the Health Facility (Bio Safety Lab) in the total amount of $15,340.00
C. Requesting approval to complete and submit a credit application required by vendor, Cepheid to procure service/maintenance for the GeneXpert equipment.
