The Hidalgo County Arts Program was created and approved by Commissioners’ Court on 7/17/18 [R-AI 65705]. The Stimulating Business and Commercial Activity through the Arts (SBACA) Initiative and first Service Agreement was approved by Commissioners’ Court on 7/31/18 [Term: 8/1/2018 – 7/31/2019, R-AI 65872]. The second Service Agreement was approved by Commissioners’ Court on 2/26/2020 [Term: 3/1/2020 – 2/28/2021, R-AI 74515]. The third Service Agreement was approved by Commissioners’ Court on 2/23/2021 [Term: 3/1/2021 – 2/28/2022, R-AI 79663].The fourth Service Agreement was approved by Commissioners' Court on 11/15/22[Term: 3/1/2022 - 2/28/2023, R-AI 88392]. The fifth Service Agreement was approved by Commissioners' Court on 9/19/23[Term: 3/1/2023 - 2/28/2024, R-AI 92525]. The sixth Service Agreement was approved by Commissioners' Court on 2/6/24[Term: 3/1/2024 - 2/28/2025, R-AI 94174].
The purpose of this agreement is to provide full funding for the County of Hidalgo Arts Program, SBACA, focusing on access to high-quality Arts programs and their benefits. For services under this agreement, the County agrees to pay the Contractor the sum of $90,000 payable in one lump sum.
