Requesting Commissioners' Court approval, pursuant to Article 3, Section 52(a) of the Texas Constitution, to purchase promotional items to include journals/notebooks, drawstring backpacks, plastic bottles, ceramic mugs, magnets, pencils, tent(s), lapel pins, lanyards, banners, table covers, plastic bags, customized picture/article frames, recognition plaques/challenge coins, banners, presentation folders, flyers, instructional & informational booklets/pamphlets/brochures, challenge coin capsules, spin wheel(s) and any other related items deemed necessary as part of public purpose efforts for the period of 01/01/2026 - 12/31/2026.

NOTE: The District Attorney's Office participates in and conducts, throughout the year, numerous conferences, meetings, career days, career fairs, health fairs, awareness events, trainings, instructional workshops, various committee meetings and orientations that focus on the criminal justice system and victims’ services as well as careers in those fields. These items will serve a public purpose / will be used as part of the Hidalgo County District Attorney's Office's educational/instructional and training programs. Items will be introduced through these programs while promoting our educational message, helping to interact with students and the community on aspects of safety, awareness and the criminal justice system.
*All acquisition of promotional items and supplies will be through the requisition and purchase order system with need for proper funding of said expenditures.
