Requesting the declaration of a public purpose pursuant to the Texas Constitution Art 3. Sec 52 for the purpose of purchasing materials, supplies, apparel, recognition items, and all other items deemed necessary for the Precinct 2 Strong Fit Program.

Said items will serve a public purpose and will be introduced to the community to celebrate the accomplishment of the participation in and the completion of the the Pct 2 StrongFit Fitness 500 Program. 
Where the StrongFit Fitness 500 program provides an adaptive fitness program specifically designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with physical, mental or cognitive challenges and improve their strength, flexibility, balance and overall wellness to assist in the pathway to obtain the necessary skills to become contributing members of their community.
