Authority to negotiate a professional engineering service contract with the second highest ranked firm for the provision of engineering services for an Urban County Program Year 37 (2024) Hidalgo Water/Sewer Improvements project.
BACKGROUND
Negotiations with the No. 1 ranked firm, L&G Consulting Engineers, Inc. were not successful. The scoring grid for engineering firms for the Hidalgo Water/Sewer Improvements Project was originally presented in Hidalgo County Commissioner’s Court on July 8, 2025 and ranked the following firms, of which L&G Consulting Engineers, Inc., was ranked No. 1, Fulcrum Consulting Services was ranked No. 2 and Javier Hinojosa Engineering was ranked No. 3. L& G Consulting Engineers, Inc. has declined service contract, therefore we need to negotiate with the next ranked professional service provider.
