Request approval to enter into contract with San Antonio Retail Merchant's Association (SARMA) for credit reporting services.
BACKGROUND
The Urban County Program HOME Division processes approximately seventy-five (75) applications yearly for down payment/closing cost assistance through the Home Buyer Assistance Program. As per qualifying guidelines a debt to income ratio determination must be made in order to determine the affordability for each family as it pertains to the house payment and all other outstanding monthly debt obligations. The applicant's credit report includes all information necessary in order to make this conclusion.
The UCP has requested and received verbal quotes for this type of service from three different vendors of which SARMA is the lowest bidder. (See attachments)
