BACKGROUND
Amended interlocal agreement with the City of Mercedes has been reviewed by legal counsel.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:
A meeting was held @ the Dept of Budget & Mgmt on 8-25-08 with Pct. 1, Auditor's office, and DBM staff in reference to this agenda item.DBM is responsible to prepare the invoices related to this agreement for each road project in order for the Co. to get reimbursed.
Pct. 1 staff is to prepare the necessary documents in order for DBM staff to prepare invoices for each project individually.
Auditor's office will create a new program no under the Pct. 1 R & B fund (1201) in order to monitor the expenditures for this agreement as well as a receivable acct to recognize the reimbursements.
Each project will have a separate PO for expenditures related to this agreement.
