Presentation by Daniel Flores, Director of Hidalgo County Bldgs. & Grounds for consideration, discussion, acceptance and approval for the following (2) elevators- Delta Section of the former (old) County Jail site located at 3100 S. Business Highway 281 in Edinburg, Tx to exercise the following options:
A. Inspect both elevators and re-certify both elevators for passenger use in an amount not to exceed $_________and to inlcude payment of previous fines for years: 1996, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 with an estimated cost of $80,000.00.
B. Inspect both elevators and convert to material lifts (freight purposes only-no passengers) in an amount not to exceed $_____________ and have them inspected by a State Inspector quickly and thus eliminating the imposition of (all) fines (as recommended by State Chief Inspector)
